Entertainment only
Fan Invitational is a free game for entertainment purposes only. It is not gambling: nobody pays to enter and nothing is wagered. The only prize is the one listed below.
1. No purchase necessary
Entry is free. Buying anything does not improve your chances. Fan Invitational is a contest of skill: the winner is the lineup with the most points, not a random draw.
2. Who can enter
Legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older when they enter. Void where prohibited. Not eligible to enter or win: any golfer in the 2026 Internet Invitational field; anyone who worked on, produced, filmed or edited the event; their immediate family and household; the operator of this site; and anyone who saw or learned any result before it was publicly released. Because the event was filmed before it airs, anyone with advance knowledge of results is excluded. Entries from ineligible people are removed.
3. How to enter
Build one lineup on this site: 8 golfers within the $100 salary cap, with one captain. One lineup per person. Entries using more than one email address for the same person are disqualified. Lineups can be edited until they lock when Episode 1 is publicly released on YouTube.
4. Prices
Golfer prices can move with demand before lock, by up to $3 up or $2 down from their starting price, as described on the home page. Your captain costs 1.5 times his price, rounded up to a whole dollar, and scores double. A saved lineup keeps the prices it was entered at. Changing any golfer or the captain re-prices the lineup at current prices.
5. Scoring and winner
Points are scored as shown on the home page, based on results as aired in the official episodes. The highest point total after the final episode wins. Ties go to the higher-scoring captain, then the earlier entry. Scoring decisions by the operator are final.
6. Prize
One prize: a $500 DICK'S Sporting Goods gift card, usable at DICK'S Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy stores and websites, delivered by email. Approximate retail value $500. No cash alternative and no substitution, except the operator may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Gift card terms are set by the issuer. The winner is responsible for any taxes.
Additional prizes provided by sponsors may be added before or during the season. Sponsor prizes are not guaranteed until they are posted on this site, and each will be listed with its own description and value when it is.
7. Winner notification
The winner is contacted at the email on their lineup within 7 days after the final episode airs and must reply within 14 days, confirming eligibility. If they do not reply or are not eligible, the next-highest eligible lineup wins.
8. Not affiliated
For entertainment purposes only. Fan Invitational is an unofficial fan game. It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Barstool Sports, Bob Does Sports, the Internet Invitational, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, YouTube, or any golfer in the field. Names are used only to identify golfers and the prize.
9. Fair play
Automated entries, fake identities, or tampering with the site disqualify the entrant. The operator may cancel or change the contest if the event is cancelled, delayed or changed, or if something outside its control affects fairness, and will post any change on this page.
10. Privacy
Your email is used to run the contest and contact the winner. Episode recaps go out only if you ticked that box. Your email is never sold. Your name and team name appear on the public standings.
